A team of make up experts from W M Creations, Hollywood, was especially air dashed to Bombay for the elephantine task. The same team had also worked out the fat look of Eddie Murphy in Nutty Professor. It may be interesting to know that after completing his shot for the film, Anil Kapoor would immediately have to rush to a refrigerated van so that the loads of make up that he had put on would not peel off!
