The Film: Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya
Star Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Karishma Kapoor, Akshay Kumar
Director: Dharmesh Darshan
Music: Nadeem Shravan
Rating: 1/5
Dharmesh Darshan is still stuck to the old days – the same outdated movies are made in the 21st century. We regret to say this but this movie is absolutely avoidable, enough of this suffering!
The movie is a typical love triangle which is inspired from the movie Ek Hi Bhool. Pooja Kashyap (Karisma) is shown as a bright and beautiful and strives to be the best. But for the sake of true love she is even ready to give up her exciting career. Pooja and Shiv (Abhishek Bachchan) meet together when both respond to an employment advertisement.
They fall in love at a later stage and get married.
Hell breaks loose when Shiv and Pooja (Karisma) travel to Switzerland, and Shiv runs into an ex-college mate (Simone Singh) with whom he has a one-night stand. The couple divorce, and Pooja attempts to rebuild her life. Enter Akshay Kumar, a film star, Raj Malhotra. Pooja takes up the job as the film star’s secretary. Raj proposes to Pooja and they plan to marry, but by a quirk of fate Shiv reappears, throwing everybody off-balance.
Darshan’s story line is poor with bad characterization. Karisma is fine in few emotional scenes but otherwise even she fails. Akshay has very suave looks but that does not help and as for Abhishek he still finds difficult to act.
On the positive side the music is good with some brilliant shots of Switzerland shown in the song sequences.
