It has been an absolute crazy month for Bollywood. While some of the most unwanted movies like Pyaasa, Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai and Zindagi Khoobsorat Hai hit the marque and like predicted non-impressed the audience.

We will recommend you to stay away from the above mentioned film.

Coming to the latest flick Dil Vil Pyar Vyar which is supposed to be dedication to R.D Burman. Bollywood is not getting better anyway - no matter hard Vasawni has tried to styise his film - you see the ingredients of a masala flick in his whooping 16-track movie.

So if it is the local railway station where everyone is decked up with make up or every 4 minutes the actors start singing and dancing!

One of the biggest advantage DVPY has is the already baked cake which is reproduced. Burman.s music is fantastic and the way this movie has treated it sounds much better than the usual remixes shot on obscene music videos.

The movie hardly has any story actually - it basically revolves around three couple life and that hardly is entertaining or moving.

So if music be your nasha than this movie is a must for you, other wise just wait till Zee shows it on television!

DVPV is actually three separate stories, which merge seamlessly into one climax. All three stories are love stories, and deal with differing aspects of the same theme. The cohesive factor is music.

Madhavan and Namrata are newly weds, a mills and boon couple, heading for a blissful happy ending. Their marriage vows are put to test by their pride; Namrata becomes successful and famous as a singer, while Madhavan, is still struggling to find his place in the world of music. Conflicts arise and they are separated. The ego is the climax here and that.s what keep going on throughout the film.

Jimmy is a rich and eligible boy; he falls in love for the penniless but proud Goan girl, Hrishitaa. She isn.t convinced that Jimmy by himself, would amount much. Jimmy has to prove himself, establish his own identity and be financially self-sufficient to win Hrishitaa, his ladylove.

Sanjay is the executive of a music company who loses his wife in an accident. He moves to a neighbourhood where Sonali lives with her paralytic brother. They are drawn to each other in a gentle romance giving new hope to Sanjay. Rakesh is Sonali.s brother but proves to be an obstacle in their love life. Sanjay has to find money to cure Sonali.s brother, which is the only way they could come together and live happily-ever-after.

All the three men come and compete for a music competition where the winner gets Rs50 lakh. But the execution of the music competition is so bad that you can make out that the competition is not even worth 50 bucks.

Both Hrishitaa and Jimmy have a very on screen chemistry. Loved Hrishitaa.s entry in the film. Her make up sucks and same goes for all the actors.

Jimmy looks as if he had not slept for a month! Yawn - that.s what u gonna do after some time as songs become an overdose while there is hardly any scope for the story to progress.

Madhavan is effective so is Nasmrata. Sonali is wasted in a movie like this while Sanjay looks good.

Rakesh and Bhavna - the new comers failed to create any impact.

Excellent editing and very crisp dialogues are the plus points. Direction is neat and some of the track lend brilliant choreography to it.

Watch it for the music only.
