Synopsis:
If one can remember, when Video Sound released the DVD of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, it contained an unreleased tune titled, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein.The song was excellently sung and penned for that matter, by Babul Supriyo and Sameer. Little did we know that Bhagnani already had his new project closing up with the same title, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Riding high on the success of Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, the guy with the ”Midas” touch is back with yet another candyfloss romantic entertainer. Teaming up with less familiar names such as, Vipul D. Shah, the writer, Gautham Menon, the director, and Harris Jayaraj, the music director, Bhagnani is clearly brining together a team of truly fresh faces. To add to that he has brought to screen for the first time South-superstar Madhavan and newcomer model Diya Mirza.The latter has already many projects in her kitty and has besotted fans with her amazing looks, which bare a striking resemblance to Ex- Miss World Aishwarya Rai’s.
Bhagnani has proven he has the ”Midas” touch in the past with many entertainers under the Puja Entertainment banner. While in the past he has kept the big names in his productions, his most recent productions have all been with fresh names, from Abhishek Bachchan to the introduction of Tusshar Kapoor. RHTDM will continue with that trend and is somewhat of a test for Bhagnani who has meet with his share of success.

Madhav Shashtri (Madhavan) college superstar in the helm of popularity, is faced with a clear and present dilemma: to love or hate. A rebellious, yet caring person, Madhav falls in love with Reena (Diya Mirza) in an irregular manner, and as the producers would like to say it, ”His life is never the same again.” Reena´s persona somewhat clashes with Madhav´s in that they are both alike. Whereas opposites attract, these two that are alike are bound to repel. As the line of the film goes, the two sides of a coin may be equal, but they can never see eye to eye. Reena and Madhav’s lives are intertwined continuously, in both pleasant and unpleasant manners. The roller coaster of emotions of these youngsters lives (including the battle of love) will have you realizing that those that live in your heart are bound to stay there forever. A sweet romance in times of serious cinema!
Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein is scheduled for an October 12th release. The music of the film, which has been catching on with the film´s teasers already out, will be released shortly on Saregama. The soundtrack contains an extensive vocal list of Kay Kay, Shaan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sonu Nigam and more.
