Director: Nitin Manmohan
Music: Vishal
Lyrics: Abbas Tyre Wala

Synopsis: Every Indian has a dream, most of them revolving around money, love, and power. Every Indian has desires, all of them revolving around money, love, and power. These are the lives of an average person in India. Director E. Niwas attempts to prove this in a witty and satirical way in his latest movie, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. This move has a very entertaining starcast; Saif Ali Khan, Fardeen Khan, Aftaab Shivdasani, Sonali Bendre, Twinkle Khanna, and where can you find a comedy movie without Johnny Lever.

The whole movie revolves around the “normal” lives all these characters and how they go about obtaining what they desire. Prakash (Saif Ali Khan) and Sapna (Sonali Bendre) are friends; Sapna wants Prakash, but he is only interested in money. Harry (Aftab Shindasani) wants everything, from money to love. Then there is Anjali (Twinkle Khanna) who wants Rahul. Rahul (Fardeen Khan) only wants to find a decent job, and is the most honest of the group. In this movie, Johnny Lever, who is known for his unique comedy roles, plays a character who wants to become a movie star. Prakash and Harry are only interested in money, it is their desire; but Rahul is the one that actually needs money. So they devise a plan hoping to fulfill their dreams. On Prakash’s planning, Rahul and Harry kidnap Sapna. After that, everything goes wrong. The movie turns into a comedy frenzy.

The movie is filled with comedy mixed with their over ambition to become rich and prove themselves to their lovers. Sonali has been paired opposite Saif and Fardeen with twinkle- it must be admitted the two pretty young ladies don't get enough footage to prove their skills. It shall not be out of place to mention that the comedy is comparable to the legendry film maker Hrishikesh Mukherjee- soft and classy.

Everyone in this movie has given good performances, although the actresses don’t play any major roles. This movie basically proves that the stars in this movie are capable of doing comedy roles; Saif Ali Khan has been used to comedy roles, and Aftab has tried it in Mast. This is a first for Fardeen Khan. But he proves his worth. And as always, Johnny Lever provides his usual blend of humor. This movie has many funny sequences which saves the movie from being referred to as a drama. There are numerous one-liners that will have the audience laughing. Twinkle Khanna and Sonali Bendre also gives delightful performances for their roles.

Although this isn’t the typical comedy audiences are used to from directors like David Dhawan it will definitely delight the crowds. E. Niwas should have spent more time on the humor, because most of it is in the first half. The second half floss of track a little bit and turns into more of a drama. The music in this movie is just decent. There are no fast tracks or upbeat numbers which nowadays appeal to the younger crowd.

Socho Kya Karoge, Love Ke Liye, and Aslam Bhai are the only decent tracks. They should have someone of higher capabilities than Vishaal Bharwaj to compose the music for such a highly advertised and budgeted film. Still, the picturization and cinematography are exceptional. The only flawless part of this movie was the star cast, they were the best choices for their characters, especially Saif Ali Khan. This movie will certainly give all three actors a leg up to be chosen for more films. The audience will appreciate this movie was what it was worth, a classy humorous film.
